Sony is showing its own e-car at CES

Today’s increasingly automated and fully-connected cars are relying more and more on digital tech and electronics for the sake of efficiency, functionality and entertainment value, so it’s not perhaps as crazy as it sounds that Sony has introduced its own electric concept car at CES — the Vision S. The sleek sedan boasts 33 sensors to monitor internal and external environments, making Level 2+ autonomous driving possible. The system also keeps tabs on what the driver is doing to offer customized infotainment and to individually align the surround sound setup to the occupants’ liking.
