7-Eleven develops alternative checkout option to Amazon Go

The 7-Eleven chain is rolling out a self-checkout feature that allows consumers to add items via a mobile app and then scan the app to transact payment before leaving the store. The convenience store chain is offering the self-checkout option along with standard checkout in stores with the new technology.
