Abercrombie & Fitch shares rise after strong fourth quarter

Shares in Abercrombie & Fitch rose 14 percent in early trading yesterday after the clothing retailer reported same-store sales improved three percent, above analysts’ expectations of a 1.4 percent gain. A&F’s net income also beat Wall Street’s expectations at $1.42 per share compared to $1.15.
