Abercrombie & Fitch’s share price takes hit on comp sales miss

Shares of Abercrombie & Fitch were down 17.5 percent in premarket trading after the retailer reported a one percent gain in same-store sales during the first quarter, below the 1.33 percent consensus on Wall Street. The clothing retailer did manage to cut its losses at 29 cents per share, well below the 43 cent decline that analysts were expecting.
