Albertsons and Kroger reach tentative labor deal with workers in SoCal

Albertsons and Kroger have reached a deal in principle with the United Food and Commercial Workers union, which represents some 47,000 grocery works across 500 stores in Southern California. UFCW members will begin to ratify or reject the deal beginning today.

Waffle House workers in Conyers, Georgia, are now on their third day of striking over what they call the company’s unfair policies.
