Albertsons reported a strong third quarter with same-store sales growing 2.7 percent, the eighth consecutive quarter of comp gains for the grocery giant. The company’s profit margin increased to 28.3 percent, up from 27.8 percent last year. Online and drive-up sales were up 34 percent during the quarter.
