Albertsons to use electric trucks for DC to store deliveries

Albertsons Companies has taken delivery of two Volvo VNR Electric trucks at its distribution center in Irvine, CA. The vehicles, which will be paired with electric-powered transport refrigeration trailers, are the first two such vehicles in its fleet of around 1,400 trucks making deliveries for the grocery giant nationwide.
