Amazon contacts COVID-19 test makers as it considers screening workers

Amazon.com has been in contact with CEOs of Abbott Laboratories and Thermo Fisher Scientific about potentially buying COVID-19 screening tests to administer to workers. Reuters discovered Amazon’s outreach after acquiring internal meeting notes at the e-tailing and tech giant.
