Amazon.com offers free bananas from stands it has set up near its campus in Seattle. The stands, which first opened in 2015, are intended as a public service. They’ve proven so successful that businesses around Amazon’s campuses have had to figure out ways to sell foods with banana as an ingredient since selling them outright has become a more complicated process.
