Amazon has grown into a private label powerhouse

It didn’t take long for Amazon.com to debut its private label batteries before the line accounted for nearly one-third of the category’s sales online. Since then, Amazon has come to see the potential of private label to transform its business. Today, it has around 100 private label lines with more than 60 of those introduced in the past year.
