Amazon.com, which has opened physical bookstores in Portland, San Diego and Seattle, is close to opening its first location on the East Coast at the Time Warner Center in Manhattan. The company is also working on opening stores in Chicago, Dedham, MA, Lynnfield, MA and Paramus, NJ.
