Amazon opening cloud-computing center in former Macy’s store

Amazon has leased a 111,000-square-foot space in the Redmond Town Center. The space was previously home to a Macy’s store, which closed last year. More than 600 Amazon Web Services employees will work in the location when it opens next year.
