American Eagle profit forecast falls below Wall Street’s expectations

American Eagle Outfitters forecast its first-quarter adjusted earnings between 19 and 21 cents per share, below the consensus of 24 cents, according to IBES data from Refinitiv. The clothing retailer’s shares fell four percent in after-hours trading.
