The American Girl brand has announced that its annual “Girl of the Year” selection for 2020 is a doll named Joss Kendrick, who represents a 10-year-old surfer and competitive cheerleader from Huntington Beach, CA. The doll, whose backstory includes two older brothers and a pet bulldog, has long brown hair, brown eyes and suffers from congenital hearing loss.
