Americans are growing more supportive of labor unions

Sixty-eight percent of Americans approve of labor unions, up from 65 percent last year, the highest percentage going back to 1965 when 71 percent approved, according to a recent Gallup poll. Approval is highest among adult between 18 and 34 (77 percent) and those with annual household incomes below $40,000 (72 percent).
