Apple discontinues iPod Nano and Shuffle

Apple has confirmed that it will no longer produce its iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle devices. The tech giant will continue to manufacture the iPod Touch. The company has long expected that consumers using their mobile phones to listen to music would render its iPod devices obsolete. The company discontinues the original iPod in 2014.
