Arizona Governor to pull state subsidy for Nike over sneaker flap

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey has ordered authorities in his state to cancel an incentive packaged offered to Nike when it opened a factory near Phoenix after the brand chose to pull its Betsy Ross flag sneakers off the market. Nike made the decision after being criticized for the design that some see as a symbol of the country’s acceptance of slavery after declaring independence.
