Ascena Retail’s shares fall on latest quarterly results

Ascena Retail Group, the parent company of Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant and the soon to be defunct Dress Barn, saw its share price fall even as it reported a smaller than expected quarterly loss. Ascena reported a loss of 26 cents per share in the third quarter, above the consensus loss of 37 cents per share expected by analysts.
