Ascenia Group announces plans to close stores

Ascenia Group, which owns Dress Barn, Justice, Lane Bryant, Catherines, Ann Taylor, LOFT and Lou & Grey announced it would close hundreds of stores over the next two years if it is unable to renegotiate lower rents with landlords. The company reported a net loss of more than $1 billion in the latest quarter.
