Associate-friendly scheduling lifts retailer sales and profits
The New York Times 03/28/2018Research of employees at more than two dozen Gap stores in the Chicagoland and San Francisco Bay areas found that more consistent shift scheduling led to an increase in sales. At stores where schedules were more consistent, sales rose seven percent compared to those where employee hours were inconsistent.
