    Is Walmart’s e-commerce COO the ‘ideal CEO to lead’ eBay?

    So agree with you Gene when you say eBay is a hodgepodge platform far from main market standard. B2C focused with still a C2C approach and an old hosting site spirit that doesn’t fit with B2C Marketplace business model. Famous Aesop fable “The Grasshopper and the Ant” is a good picture that resume eBay’s journey between 2000 and 2010 and Mr. Iannone was part of it through 9 years. He will have to make eBay become “the Ant,” take risks and invest to prevent the melting of the iceberg. Will he have hands free and good vision?
