Camilla Ley Valentin
CCO & Co-founder, Queue-it
Camilla is Co-founder and CCO of Queue-it, a start-up who develops and markets an online queueing system for managing website overload during extreme user peaks in relation to popular events and activities online. The solution maintains website performance by protecting against potential slowdowns and failures. Camilla co -founded the company together with Niels Henrik Sodemann, CEO and Martin Pronk, CTO.
At Queue-it Camilla is responsible for marketing, communications, business development and HR.
She has held various positions within executive management of Ementor Danmark A/S, including areas of software architecture and business development. Camilla has also held key positions within Nykredit, A.P. Møller-Mærsk, EDS (now HP) and Accenture. She is an MBA graduate from Edinburgh Business School.
Camilla is member of the board at Signatours Travel, EasyTrial, fourKant, Domanica and Queue-it. She is also one of the founders of the Copenhagen community “Women in Tech” who aim to inspire diversity in tech startups, with the purpose of driving even more innovation and a balanced tech startup scene.
Camilla was awarded “Female Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2012, and is a regular blogger, event speaker, and advocate for women and girls and tech.
