Best Buy CEO Hubert Joly said the company needed to reshape “nearly every piece of its business” to compete in a consumer electronics market that was increasingly being shaped by Amazon.com. Mr. Joly pointed to Best Buy’s price competitiveness, customer service, omnichannel capabilities and cost-cutting as factors in a turnaround that many thought was impossible.
