BJ’s Sees Sale as Means to Grow

BJ’s Wholesale Club is exploring the possibility of putting the chain on the auction block to raise the types of funds it will need to substantially grow its business. Likely suitors include Leonard Green & Partners, which currently holds about 10 percent of the warehouse club’s shares.

Waffle House workers in Conyers, Georgia, are now on their third day of striking over what they call the company’s unfair policies.
