Blue Apron laying off more workers
TechCrunch 11/13/2018Blue Apron is reducing its workforce by four percent as the meal kit company tries to get its expenses in line with sales. The company expects the layoffs to save $16 million next year. The company also announced that Jared Cluff, its chief marketing officer, has left the company. Blue Apron lost nearly $34 million in the third quarter, an improvement over an $87.2 million loss last year.
