Blue Apron laying off more workers

Blue Apron is reducing its workforce by four percent as the meal kit company tries to get its expenses in line with sales. The company expects the layoffs to save $16 million next year. The company also announced that Jared Cluff, its chief marketing officer, has left the company. Blue Apron lost nearly $34 million in the third quarter, an improvement over an $87.2 million loss last year.
