Blue Apron shares take a hit as unexpected costs pile up

Blue Apron’s share price fell more than 15 percent earlier today as the company posted a higher than expected loss during the most recent quarter. The meal kit delivery service, which reported higher than expected costs tied to its new facility in Linden, NJ, has said it will need to reduce marketing expenditures in the upcoming quarter as an offset.
