Colorado Governor Vetoes Bill Favoring Unions
The Denver Post 05/20/2009Colorado Governor Bill Ritter vetoed legislation that would have made locked out workers eligible to receive unemployment benefits. Gov. Ritter criticized the timing of the bill with negotiations ongoing between the United Food and Commercial Workers union and supermarket chains in the state.
