Consumers may be drinking microplastics with their tea
Fast Company 09/27/2019Forget milk or sugar. A new study published in Environmental Science & Technology reports that consumers of high-end teas that come in bags made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate) or nylon, may be ingesting billions of microplastic particles when drinking the beverage.
