Consumers pay higher prices as tariffs passed along
The Wall Street Journal 07/29/2018Consumer prices rose 2.9 percent in June, the highest rate in more than six years, while the producer price index rose 3.4 percent. Rising prices are the result of higher energy and shipping costs along with tariffs imposed on imports of steel and aluminum.
