Court says Starbucks fired pro-union baristas illegally

An administrative law judge has ruled that Starbucks acted illegally when it fired two baristas working in Philadelphia over their attempts to organized a union. The judge, Andrew Gollin, had previously ordered the coffee chain to rehire the workers and give them back pay. The case, which has been going on for nearly two years, is expected to be appealed by Starbucks.
