Cyber Monday stacks up as a battle between Amazon and everyone else

Customers spent 32 percent more on Amazon.com during the first two weeks of November compared to the same period last year, according to Edison Trends. That doesn’t mean the e-tailing giant isn’t facing major competition this year. Rivals like Walmart (+51 percent) and Target (+47 percent) are posting even bigger year-over-year percentage gains.
