Danone to sell Stonyfield Farms to gain approval for WhiteWave deal

The French yogurt maker has agreed to sell its Stonyfield Farms business to gain approval from federal regulators for its acquisition of WhiteWave Foods. In an agreement reached with federal authorities, Danone has said it will sell Stonyfield in the months following the close of its deal with WhiteWave.
