Moderately priced casual restaurants, with meals priced between $8 and $20, are losing market share to fast food chains, where prices are typically between $4 and $8, as consumers look for food they can get quickly at the lowest possible cost, according to Nick Setyan, an analyst at Wedbush Securities.
