Dollar General, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar are all expected to get a boost if consumers begin looking for ways to save money in an economic downturn. Both Dollar General and Dollar Tree, which also owns Family Dollar, report earnings next week. Shares in all three companies jumped during the Great Recession.
