E.coli outbreak wreaks havoc on romaine lettuce sales

Prices for romaine lettuce have dropped by more than half following an E.coli outbreak tied to the vegetable that resulted in 172 illnesses and one death. Sales of romaine lettuce have fallen 45 percent compared to last year, according to Nielsen.
