Elon Musk told attendees of the National Governors Association Summer Meeting that the time for the government to begin regulating artificial intelligence is now. Mr. Musk, who has previously raised his concerns about AI, said the technology represents “a fundamental risk to the existence of civilization” if it is not properly regulated.
