Kroger, Levi’s add emergency savings accounts to help workers in a pinch

Employers including Kroger and Levi Strauss are helping workers set up emergency savings accounts to help offset the loss in productivity that often comes with personal financial struggles. In some cases, employers are allowing employees to dedicate a portion of their earnings to accounts connected with their 401(k) plans.
