Dorrit Bern has resigned from Charming Shoppes after 13 years as the chain’s president and chief executive. Separately, Brian Woolf, a former executive with Cache, The Limited and Lazarus, has been named president of Charming Shoppes’ Lane Bryant chain. He replaces LuAnn Via who is joining the Payless shoe chain.
