FDA seeks to further cut lead levels in baby food

The Food and Drug Administration has proposed maximum limits for lead in baby foods that could cut the average child’s exposure to the heavy metal by about 25 percent. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said that there is no safe level of lead for kids.
