Flooding puts an end to McD’s museum

McDonald’s announced it would tear down its museum in Des Plaines, IL next month. The museum, which was a replica of the first restaurant built by Ray Kroc in 1955, opened in 1985, but has had its interior closed to visitors since 2008 due to repeated flooding.
