Former Walmart.com CEO says store closures would benefit Walmart

Carter Cast, former CEO of Walmart.com between 2000 and 2007, told CNBC that he expects that Walmart will be able to grow its online sales from its current level between four and five percent “to well over 10 percent.” This will mean the retailer will be able to prune some locations and become stronger in the process.
