FTC expected to approve Walgreens-Rite Aid merger any day now

The Federal Trade Commission is expected to give the okay for the merger between the large drugstore chains before President Obama leaves office, a source close to the case told the New York Post. The merger between Walgreens and Rite Aid would make the company the largest drugstore chain in the U.S.
