FTC gives Bass Pro okay to acquire Cabela’s

The Federal Trade Commission has given its approval for Bass Pro Shops to acquire its rival Cabela’s in a deal valued at $4 billion. Cabela’s shareholders will vote to approve the deal next week. Bass Pro, which is acquiring Cabela’s catalog, physical stores, and online business, plans to sell off its credit card unit.
