FTC says Amazon will refund purchases made by kids without parental permission

The Federal Trade Commission announced that Amazon.com would reimburse parents for purchases made by their children without permission on the e-tailer’s mobile app. The ruling covers unauthorized charges that took place between Nov. 2011 and May 2015. Amazon’s liability could be as high as $70 million.
