Goldman Sachs expects coronavirus to claim 2.25 million jobs

Last week, 281,000 people filed first-time claims for unemployment, up 33 percent from the week before. If a Goldman Sachs’ forecast is accurate, that’s just the tip of the iceberg as the finance giant expects claims to jump to 2.25 million before the coronavirus outbreak is done with the U.S. economy.
