Google to use search to get a cut of retailers’ sales

Google is partnering with Costco, Home Depot, Target, Walmart and others to include the retailers’ product catalogs in its search results. The arrangement will prioritize results for these retailers over competitors, such as Amazon.com. Instead of charging an ad fee, Google will get a portion of sales that are generated.
