High-fructose corn syrup tied to cancer risk

A new study has found that increased consumption of high-fructose corn syrup led to increased growth in the size of colon tumors in mice. The study from researchers at the Weill Cornell Medicine and New York-Presbyterian Hospital suggests that drinking high amounts of soft drinks with the sweetener may have similar effects on humans.
