H&M to launch more upmarket retail brand
March 30, 2017
H&M announced the launch of Arket, a “modern-day market that will offer essential products for men, women, children and home.” The new concept, which will sell its own brands as well as others from outside suppliers, will feature pricing somewhat higher than H&M. The first Arket store will open on London’s Regent Street in late summer or early fall with an e-commerce site going live in 18 European countries at the same time. Select Arket stores will include cafes featuring “new Nordic” dishes.
