Hurricane Irma damage likely to lead to orange juice shortages

Damage to Florida’s orange trees has been estimated to be as high as 70 percent following Hurricane Irma. The losses could have a serious impact on orange juice, which is the largest source of fruit in the American diet. Ninety-percent of all oranges harvested in Florida are turned into juice.
