IKEA trials furniture buyback in Penn. in advance of national rollout

IKEA says it will first give shoppers at its Conshohocken, PA, store the opportunity to sell their good condition furniture back to the chain for store credit before launching the furniture buyback and resale program nationwide in the U.S. IKEA has reportedly had success with the service in the UK and other countries and sees it as a part its commitment to transform the chain into a more “climate positive” business by 2030.
